It is okay if you have that habbit:

First of all, you must know that it is not a bad sign if you want to get rid of something from your life Because sometimes we are going through something that we can not tell anyone. But on the same time we desire from our heart to get rid of it. So first of all you must know that it is okay if you have that bad habbit or attachment. And even if it was your habbit of about 6 years but still there is hope that you can leave it. So yeah do not be sad. Instead be proud of yourself that you are now deciding to leave that habbit.

You can leave that habbit:

Find it’s replacement:

Secondly, start doing something in it’s replacement. So that you can not feel vacant. Because obviously when you would not be doing that, you can not sit free. You have to do something instead of that habbit. But the point is that you should know that it should be productive. Even if it is on minor level. Also do that thing in which you are interested. Like the thing which you want to do. OK!

During starting days, you will miss that habbit:

And during the start, you will miss that. You would be like that I want to go and return to that habbit. But you have to resist yourself.And it is the game of only one month. After one month,you will not be as much desperate as you are right now. Because time is the real game changer and the will power of yours. And trust me you can leave this habit. YOU CAN! and reassure to yourself that yes I can.

Example:

Let us say, if a person has the habbit of being in anxiety and in overthinking all the time. So what he can do ? He can just decide that from now on whatever thoughs are coming in my mind, I am not going to give them attention at all. And whenever I will feel anxiety, I would not focus on it. Instead, I will try to act like very calm and at peace.

And to avoid being in overthinking, he can make his life busy so that he does not have the time to do that. So yeah, look it would be difficult for him only for the first month and after that it will become very normal and easy for him and he would be changed. Look! how easy was that.The only thing we need to have is that specific will power to abondon our that kind of habbit. And it would be okay that if you would be changed and be not that person anymore. Because this is life and everyone changes. No one remains same throughout the life.
